The Pollard Memorial Library Foundation in Lowell is accepting work for the first Elinor Lipman Award, named for the popular and critically acclaimed writer who grew up in Lowell, Mass. The competition is open to residents of Lowell and current students at UMass Lowell and Middlesex Community College.
